'Read & Succeed' and 'English Reading Corner in Classroom' programmes were officiated by the Principal of SMKAM on the 13th of January 2013. These programs aim to motivate learners to read and inculcate in them the reading habit, help students develop their language proficiency through teaching materials that can enrich and consolidate learning and also expose learners to material written in English. Among the programs which will be held throughout the year are 'NILAM' reading programme and 'Reading Corner Decoration Competition'. All classrooms were provided with some materials especially dictionaries for them to be put with other materials at their corners.
